7 Fall Makeup Tips You Need to Try
This fall is a season of change! We all need a fresh start and my fall makeup tips are just the ticket you’ve been wanting! lol Here are some pretty awesome makeup tips for fall.
Tip 1) Double Wings
You know that London look that’s kind of vintage? Yea that one. Well you can achieve it by putting double wings on your eyeliner. Which really is simple. All you need to do is wing out on both the top and bottom. Boom, done!
Tip 2) Applying Foundation
I know applying foundation isn’t always fun but let’s start with your skin. If you keep your skin well maintained, (clean and dry) that alone will help you. Begin by applying moisturizer. Use your fingers to press the foundation in. Apply a light colored concealer around the eye area. Once done, finish with a spray moisturizer. That will brighten your skin and bring out a healthy glow.
Tip 3) Makeup Brands
If you buy a certain brand of makeup, try it but it makes you break out, don’t be afraid to discard it. Your healthy skin is more important than using certain brands of makeup, no matter what is trending!
Tip 4) Purple Smoky Eye shadow
Ok so this may not exactly be a “tip” but here goes. Purple smoky is where you want to veer to. This shade will bring out the aqua in someone’s green eyes. It’s hot on the runways of Paris.
Tip 5) Try a vibrant sexy rainbow
Bright shades are not just for a weekend girls’ night out anymore. Wear them anywhere with the 20% rule. What this means is put makeup on your upper lids and lips. Give or take about 20% of your face, is all that is needed for wearing brighter colors. You could try iridescent lavender on your lids and bubblegum pink on your lips!
Tip 6) Always Line Your Lips
To be honest, dark colored lipstick can run very easily. The slightest touch and omg, it’s ruined. So be sure to always line your lips and keep both the lipstick and liner in your purse for necessary touch ups.
Tips 7) The Right Blush Brush for Your Face
I am a firm believer that with the right blush brush, you will apply your blush better on your face.
For oval faces: Use a stippling brush for tapping and blending.
For heart shaped faces: Use a fan brush to easily work around the eye.
For round or square faces: Use an angled brush to help define the cheekbone and make the face appear more narrow.
