Your goal is to minimize your midsection by highlighting your shoulders and legs. Try wearing a flowing shirt and low-waisted straight-leg pants. The flowy shirt helps to hide those few extra pounds and the pants help with stomach bulges as well.

Banana Shapes:


What this means is that you have a slimmer lower body and carry weight around your middle. So your best bets are ruffle tops, miniskirts or side cut dresses. The ruffle tops help emphasize breast size, the miniskirts and side cut dresses show off your legs and draw attention to your curves.

Pear Shapes:


Ideally, you want your body to look longer. To do this, you shall want to gravitate towards off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare dresses, A-line skirts, or embellished tops. With the dress your bare shoulders will take the attention off your lower body, the skirt helps with emphasizing the smallest part at the waist, and the embellished top is great for centering the focus on your slim upper body.



Best known as the inverted triangle, your body shape boasts a broad chest and wide shoulders with narrow waist and hips. Your best bet is to wear fuller skirts, wrap dresses, and wide strap shirts. Fuller skirts will give you a waist without going overboard, wrap dresses will make your body flowy and wide strap shirts will take attention away from broad shoulders.
