Fitting your child’s feet properly for shoes is something every parent has to deal with. Children’s feet are ever growing and they don’t stop for a long time! So how do you properly fit your child’s feet for new shoes? Let’s find out.

Tip #1) Measure the Bigger Foot

When you measure your child’s feet, always measure the bigger one. This will ensure that when their feet expand from heat or otherwise, the shoes will still fit.

Tip #2) Style Isn’t Always Key

When fitting your child’s foot, don’t go for shoes that have Thor on it because it looks cute. Those kinds of shoes will more than likely fall apart quickly when they are running and jumping around.

Tip #3) Comfort and Durability

If your child isn’t comfortable, then chances are they won’t wear them!

Tip #4) Stability

Your children’s feet are still growing and the bones in their feet, still developing. Around half of kids will have flat feet and a fifth may have high arches. Shoes need to be stable with good cushioning, providing internal and external support.
